Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid and Treason against the United States of America\u00a0. . That’s the Subject of this Big B File.<\/p>\n
At a press conference on April 19th, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid said the following about our troops efforts in Iraq:<\/p>\n
\n“I believe myself that the secretary of state, secretary of defense and – you have to make your own decisions as to what the president knows – (know) this war is lost and the surge is not accomplishing anything as indicated by the extreme violence in Iraq (Wednesday).\n– Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid
\nThursday, April 19, 2007\n<\/blockquote>\nIt really sounds like to me that he wants us to lose and is rooting for the Islamofacists and Terrorist Groups like Usama bin Ladin’s Al Qaeda to win for one reason . . .the same Reason that I have mentioned before on the Big B Zone Radio Program and in previous Big B Files . . .Power!\u00a0 But does what Reid said on April 19, 2007, among other things,\u00a0amount to Treason against the United States of America?
\nHere is an excerpt from the United states Code a.k.a. U.S. Law (18 U.S.C. 115 section 2388<\/a> ) that deals with Treason:\n(a) Whoever, when the United States is at war, willfully makes or conveys false reports or false statements with intent to interfere with the operation or success of the military or naval forces of the United States or to promote the success of its enemies; or
\nWhoever, when the United States is at war, willfully causes or attempts to cause insubordination, disloyalty, mutiny, or refusal of duty, in the military or naval forces of the United States, or willfully obstructs the recruiting or enlistment service of the United States, to the injury of the service or the United States, or attempts to do so — Shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than twenty years, or both.\n\n– CHAPTER 115–TREASON, SEDITION, AND SUBVERSIVE ACTIVITIES
\nSec. 2388. Activities affecting armed forces during war
\n18 U.S.C. 115 section 2388\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/blockquote>\nFrom reading the first paragraph of that law cited, the statement made by Harry Reid mentioned above among other statements from other Democrats who are Far Left Secular-Progressives (S-Ps) would qualify at Treason.\u00a0 There have been calls from not just Republicans . . . but from the Soldiers themselves and their families<\/a>, Veterans, Commentators like myself, members of Congress, and Ordinary Americans <\/a>to resign from the his position as Majority Leader . . .if not from the U.S. Senate altogether.
\nThe following is what the U.S. Law on Treason says what the Punishment is for someone who has\u00a0committed an act of Treason is:\nSec. 2381. Treason<\/a>
\n<\/u>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Whoever, owing allegiance to the United States, levies war against them or adheres to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort within the United States or elsewhere, is guilty of treason and shall suffer death, or shall be imprisoned not less than five years and fined under this title but not less than $10,000; and shall be incapable of holding any office under the United States.\n\n–\u00a0 (June 25, 1948, ch. 645, 62 Stat. 807; Pub. \nSec. 330016(2)(J), Sept. 13, 1994, 108 Stat. 2148.)\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/blockquote>\nThe Big B Files believes Harry Reid should resign from both the Majority Leader position and his U.S. Senate altogether. As the Law says, Harry Reid should also be fined “not less than $10,000; and shall be incapable of holding any office under the United States.”
