Winter Precipitation to Begin Earlier… A mix of sleet and snow is ahead of schedule and will impact portions of the eastern Ozarks and southeast Missouri as early as this morning’s commute. Sleet and snow will spread into central Missouri this morning then to the St. Louis Metropolitan Area by lunchtime.

A significant accumulation of sleet and snow is now expected for the evening commute and rush hour.

Untreated roads will quickly become hazardous.
