The documentary video SCANDAL: The Catholic Culture of Death and a call to action is the subject of this Big B File.

Recently at a meeting, five fellow members of the Knights of Columbus (in addition to myself) viewed the documentary video SCANDAL: The Catholic Culture of Death. This documentary video was presented by CREDO of the Catholic Laity & Defenders of the Unborn and was produced to expose the local Catholic Hospitals here in St. Louis area that are accused of referring mothers to places like Planned Parenthood and other abortion mills in Illinois......if not performing the abortions in the Catholic hospitals' own facilities themselves.

This is a very well-produced and moving documentary video is (in my view) on the caliber of those documentaries produced by Nine PBS (KETC-DT – St. Louis, MO) & Newsmax TV. Even though I have been of some assistance of this effort in some form since 2021 that has been led by John Ryan (a member of the Knights of Columbus from the Eureka, MO council), the documentary video laid the facts out so well that it even caused me to be more passionate to get involved and to feel the need to do something......which is one reason I am writing this Big B File.

We're now at a point in time that we can no longer afford to sit idly by and do nothing while this great evil is allowed to continue. We have got to get our fellow Knights of Columbus members, their wives, friends, relatives, clergy, other fellow Roman Catholics, and anyone else we know of to put the pressure to get organizations like the Knights of Columbus Missouri State Council to take a stand on the issue and the Archdiocese of St. Louis to do an actual independent investigation into the issues that the documentary video raises (meaning using someone who is not connected in any way with any of the hospitals involved).
